Another beautiful product of Asian cinema is In the Mood for Love. Although, painstakingly slow it’s still so darn nice to look at. While watching it, I kept pausing over and over again because some of the scenes were in the mood for love movie review by social sami in chicagooverwhelmingly beautiful. It was as if someone took millions of photographs together and made a movie out of them. I couldn’t find a poster that did it justice so had to get an image from the film. Like I’ve mentioned, it’s rather slow so watch it with an open mind and you might need to break it into a two-parter. Its sequel, 2046 is just as good and slow-paced so if you like Mood then you’d enjoy 2046. Also, Mood has an extremely romantic soundtrack.

Besides having an attractive cast, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer boosts an excellent cinematography along with a perfume movie poster review by social sami in Chicagosuspenseful sexy plot. The main character is born with a superior olfactory sense, creates the world’s finest perfume. His work, however, takes a dark turn as he searches for the ultimate scent. And by dark I mean beautiful women and an end scene that’ll have you at the edge of your seat.

Although not as recent, Blade Runner is as visually stunning as the rest of the list. It’s a lot of fun to look at a moblade runner movie review social sami in Chicagovie that tried to predict what our future would look like. It’s a gritty kind of beautiful. Before movies like Batman Returns tried to portray dark grey colored buildings in greyer cities, there was Blade Runner. A story that questions what makes us human but not by being either or unbearably deep. There’s also the hot android woman and the fact that it’s based on a great book! Did I mention a young Harrison Ford is the lead actor?

Although not a live action movie, I think Spirited Away is so magical and so adorable. Below is a trailer to show you why. If you’re lazy, you can get the dubbed version of the movie. Please share if you’ve seen or recommend any others!
