"Tierva" is "Greetings" in the Inari dialect. "Tiirv" is "Greetngs" in the Kildin dialect. "Buorre biejvve" is "Greetings" in the Lule dialect. "Buorrve beaivi" is "Greetings" in the North dialect. "Tiorv" is "Greetings" in the Skolt dialect. "Buerie biejjie" is "Greetings" in the South dialect. "Tiirn yalak" is "Greetings" in the Ter dialect. So it is not just a single language, that needs to be preserved. Language immersion programs will either have to be according to the dialect area people live in, or the language will have to be standardized into a single speech pattern.
