TLT Tweetup

Jul 3, 2010 by

Last Tuesday I co-hosted a boat tweetup, thanks to @thelocaltourist, it was such a great time, we enjoyed amazing views of Chicago while enjoying the tastiest Mediterranean bites from Dawali and cupcakes from @GoddessGrocer. Guests walked away with a great goody bag too!

Thanks again to our sponsors, who filled those goody bags:an image of Chicago during a social media event co hosted by social sami

Chuan Vo took great photographs! You can see the pictures on his website.

Also many thanks to @thelocatourist for giving me the pleasure of working with her and also thank you to @JenChicago, the 3rd co-host of the night.

At the opening night of Fuerza Bruta I was there. Luckily I knew what I was getting myself into because earlier that day I was at the press conference and got a peek at the show. If you’re not as lucky as I am then I suggest you keep reading. One of the numbers performed at the Fuerza Bruta playing at Auditorium theatre chicago

First, I’d like to recommend that you try your hardest to attend this fantastic show playing at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. It’s so wonderful. I do have to admit, it’s not for everyone and I hope this helps you figure out if you would enjoy it as much as I did.

theRoof TweetUp!

Mar 24, 2010 by

Chicago weather teaches you to be hopeful. Last month I wanted to celebrate spring before it even arrived and therefore created #preSpringTweetUp at @MurasakiChicago. It was a blast!

Spring has arrived since then and I can’t wait till the summer starts. Summer time in Chicago is the best! One of the great pleasures it brings with it is the opening of the patios and the rooftops. That’s why I decided to host a rooftop tweetup. I couldn’t think of a better place than the @theWitChicago and I’m glad we worked together in producing an amazing event. Everyone had a blast meeting people they’ve been chatting with online and recognizing old faces they haven’t seen for a while. Here are some photographs taken by a very talented Errol Dunlap. Be sure to check him out!

Not at SXSW Tweetup

Mar 17, 2010 by

If you’re a Twitter addict, like me, then I’m sure you’ve noticed the many many many #sxsw tweets. Some of us stare and wish we were there. Others, like @CalebGardner and @RebeccaDenison decide to take matters into their own hands and host a #NotAtSXSW tweetup.  It was a !!BRILLIANT!! idea. What’s even better is that @StacyJill was able to secure us an “all you can drink” hour. Yes, Chicago tweeps are awesome like that. To add to the excitement I got to meet many fantastic tweeps that I haven’t met before. I always try to take as many photos as possible but I couldn’t get everyone, sorry I missed you!
